Something New is Here!

If you’ve been following along with my blog, you’ve probably already noticed that it’s undergone a name change from Susan Honey Williams to Laughing Cabin. Even though the name has changed, you’re in the right place. It’s still me, and I’m still here!

God has been doing a new thing regarding the direction and focus of this online community. The changes you see reflect this. I think you’re going to be pleasantly surprised as time goes by! Things are shaping up, and our ongoing journey together promises to be filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments. For anyone new who is dropping in for the first time, please make yourself at home. It’s SO good to have you here!

The Start of Something Bigger

It was just a few years ago when God invited me on a life-changing faith journey. Little did I realize it would lead to writing a book! During the writing process, God placed a message in my heart for women — like me — who are crying out for a second chance to reconnect with Him and discover their authentic selves. God is inviting us to make a comeback. All He is asking for is our “yes!”

The book is where it started, but God’s plans are bigger! Recently, God put it in my heart to create an online community where women over fifty can find ongoing connection, encouragement, and support, no matter where they are along their faith journey.

Renewed and Expanded Vision

So my vision for the Laughing Cabin includes:

FACEBOOK PAGE for daily connection.
SNAIL MAIL CLUB for women over fifty to offer personal encouragement, humor, and conversation in the form of a print publication delivered by postal mail. The publication is named Letters from the Laughing Cabin. Reading it will be like enjoying a visit from a dear friend.
ONLINE STATIONERY STORE because there’s nothing like pretty stationery for reviving the tradition of giving and receiving cards and letters in the mail. Bringing back the popularity of snail mail is something I hope to encourage!
